Victory in Suffering

There is a deep fellowship in suffering. Any person who has been through deep suffering has a special bond with those who have been through similar suffering –Deep suffering produces deep fellowship.

The depth of our hearts calls out to the depth of God’s heart. It is at this point that we experience the overflowing compassion and comfort of our God. Not just flowing into our lives, but flowing through our lives to those around us.

According to 2 Corinthians 1:3-7- Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction so that we will be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God. For just as the sufferings of Christ are ours in abundance, so also our comfort is abundant through Christ. But if we are afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation; or if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which is effective in the patient enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer; and our hope for you is firmly grounded, knowing that as you are sharers of our sufferings, so also you are sharers of our comfort.

I have had my share of sufferings and I have experienced people of God sharing in my sufferings.

They say hindsight is 20/20. I now see what Satan did and what he is still trying to do. Weaken me, restrict and confine my calling, my ministry. He is trying to crush out the very life that I have. He is trying to shut me up and make me ineffective in the kingdom.

He wants to weaken me to the point of staying discouraged enough, questioning everything about God’s Word, doubting His power and His love and never experience that comfort.

You are blessed when your commitment to God provokes persecution. No matter what you face, God’s plan is that you experience VICTORY,
