Too Heavy to Lift?

This Too Shall Pass!

How many times have you heard this phrase said to you or to someone else? I have said it myself and to others. Usually it is when all hell is breaking loose or you are dealing with troubles or issues in your life. Although this is not a scripture, we can put some feet on it and back it up with

scripture.

2 Corinthians 4:17-18 - “For momentary, light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison, while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal."

If you are dealing with some “difficult times” in your life today, I pray that you will allow the Word of God to penetrate deep in your heart today, and “let it do what it do.”

Isaiah 55:8-11 says:

“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” declares the LORD.

For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways And My thoughts than your thoughts.

For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven, And do not return there without watering the earth And making it bear and sprout, And furnishing seed to the sower and bread to the eater;

“So will My Word be which goes forth from My mouth; It will not return to Me empty, Without accomplishing what I desire, And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.”

This Too, Shall Pass!
